Why “Ensat”?
وَإِذَاقُرِئَٱلْقُرْءَانُفَٱسْتَمِعُوا۟لَهُۥوَأَنصِتُوا۟لَعَلَّكُمْتُرْحَمُونَ“When the Quran is recited, listen to it and be silent, that you may receive mercy.”
Our name comes from this verse. Listening is hearing; inṣāt is falling silent so you can hear with your whole heart. So we kept everything that competes with the recitation out of the app: no ads, no clutter, nothing between you and the words of Allah.
